Be aware O’ being! Use your intelligence to read and understand the message of time and awaken your sleeping wisdom. You are steeped in so much laziness, so much comfort that you cannot even see the legs of your own bed on fire!
There are four yugas, times cycles or ages and each yug has three symbolic reigning divine powers. First, when the yug just begins, Mahasaraswati is predominant. Since the yug is still in its infancy, learning happens, wisdom and knowledge of science are gained for overall progress. Till this time, Lakshmi is not so dominant. Earlier, writers, thinkers, teachers were not deluded by the opulence of Lakshmi. Saraswati is served by way of sadhna or penance.
At the time of youth of the yug, Mahalakshmi’s benevolence is showered on this very gyan and dhyan and slowly Lakshmi starts dominating and Saraswati starts to be traded and the yug’s youthfulness starts to decline. The entire mind power goes into holding on to Lakshmi and the fear of it slipping haunts all the time. Then there is preponderance of ugliness and diseases.
At this point, Nature who is ever ready to restore the equilibrium to re-establish the truth, dons the form of Mahakali, creating mediums to destroy imperfection. This is sambhavami yuge-yuge — time-requirement. This is the destiny of every yug.
During the time of Ram, the war was between paap-punya – sin-virtues. During the time of Krishn, the war was between dharm-adharm – right conduct at the right time vs misconduct. Now in Kaliyug, the war is between falsehood and truth. Falsehood has to be negated.
The truth of every yug is one and the same and that is – for the protection of self-respect and destruction of imperfection — all weapons, intellect, wisdom and endeavour are to be used. With body mind soul and full mental and physical capacities, pride of truth and self-respect have to be safeguarded.
Now it is time for change for the establishment of truth. All those who will not work according to this, Time will not forgive them. Darkness is a guest merely for a night, so no one can stop the dawn from breaking.
Like there are three states of human life – childhood, youth and old age, similarly each yug also goes through these three stages. Just as old age is a stage for analysing life, time to shed the baggage of falsehood one by one, Kaliyug too has matured and is going through this phase. Only those who understand this mystery and while working on themselves are engaged in true purushaarth, endeavour will be able to introduce the golden age to the new generation.
Body like a lamp with the oil of true karm
The wick of the pure wisdom burns day and night
The heart had become Supreme’s pawn
The hollow body, a gift from Nature
Inside it, is the sweet flute of Prabhu...
The flute echoing within is saying pranam, paying obeisance with respect and humility, to all saints and great souls, mahatmas and all those who are precursors of change. This is Pranam’s pranam.
Come, let’s walk together, form a caravan of truth carrying a torch of truth, so that if one falls, another one carries it forward.
