Life is simple…We have made it complicated!

  • Post Author:

Life is easy, it is we who complicate it. So what if someone has robbed you of your time, emotions or wealth and then left you?  Kabir says: Joh thagay so chor, jo thagaaye so thakur -- The one who robs you is a thief and the one who gets robbed is a thakur, a rich man. After all he was rich enough to be robbed. You had something of great value, something to impart to another person, is that not a great thing? So don’t take is as blow to your ego, just let it go. The problem lies when we look at everything from the perspective of our ego and become slave to our tendency to put others down. Why do this? How does it matter? Why must we focus so much on putting others down, come up on top, make others come around to our point of…

Why be judgemental!!

  • Post Author:

We have certain norms and moralistic patterns of behaviour in our mind. And when we realise that every species has its own individual capacity and traits, then we our comfortable with them, and we realise that we are not here to analyse or criticise them. Like a cactus, you if you get too close to it, its thorns will prick you, so only you decide your behaviour with it. You never criticise Supreme or God for it, you protect yourself from it; a snake, for instance, can bite you, scorpion can sting you, you don’t analyse their behaviour, you only protect yourself from them, only think of how to treat yourself when bitten or stung. If you find sun’s rays too strong, you protect yourself, you don’t abuse the sun for being strong. You carry an umbrella to protect yourself. There are so many such examples. In the deep sea,…

Be A Good Human

  • Post Author:

We have to justify this life by being a true human. How we with others should also reflect our true human behaviour. We have to realise that we are from one source and that we all are made of the same five elements – Earth, Air, Water, Fire, and Space. We have to develop, polish and refine the qualities of these five elements in our being.  For example, the Earth denotes patience, gives shelter to all, be it a saint or a sinner. Air lets life happen. Water stands for compassion. Fire burns imperfections, and as its flames always go upwards, we too should grow and evolve upwards. Space gives protection and a sense of belonging.  There are so many religions and religious sects fighting with each other, calling themselves superior and displaying no compassion or tolerance for the others. They must know that there is a place for everyone…

  • Post Author:

It is a plateau given by Nature to know the true meaning and importance of detachment. In the complete life cycle of a human being, state of depression is sure to happen at least 7 to 10 times, at an interval of 8 to12 years. In the state of depression, the human mind is disillusioned and astonished by worldly experiences. It is detached and is lost in its own world. The mind is either agitated and indulges in self pity and may even think of suicide, or as a result of aatm-manthan, self-analysis, it could gather itself, and determined with new enthusiasm, give truthful direction…
